Angel Reese’s Postseason Trip
After Chicago Sky’s season finale loss to the Liberty—91-86 on Thursday—All-Star Angel Reese was seen boarding a private jet for a postseason getaway, as shared on TikTok.
Reese couldn’t play in the last three games of the season due to a persistent back injury. In the TikTok video, she appeared with a friend, amid a somewhat strained relationship with the team.
“They: The season didn’t end six hours ago,” Reese captioned her post.
At 23, Reese flaunted her style in her Instagram stories, sporting Chanel sunglasses and an Hermes Birkin bag, along with a trendy tracksuit while on the jet.
Meanwhile, trade rumors are swirling around Reebok athletes, especially after the team’s defeat to the Aces, where Reese didn’t play due to her back issues, a problem that kept her out for seven games back in July.
Reese, who was the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, previously stirred up controversy with comments made in an interview. She expressed her frustrations with the franchise, leading to a temporary suspension after she apologized to her teammates.
“We haven’t settled in the same s-t this year,” she shared with the Tribune. “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s impossible for me to negotiate. I can’t settle for this year.”
Currently, Reese is under a rookie contract for two more years before becoming a restricted free agent. Notably, she has been leading the WNBA in rebounds this season, averaging 12.6 per game—marking her second consecutive year at the top.
