Recent reports indicate that two mothers in Minnesota were tragically shot by a stalker’s ex-boyfriend shortly after a concerning Facebook post.

Mariah Rosanna Samuels, 34, was fatally shot multiple times in the chest by her ex, David Eugene Wright, 50. Police have since advised that her body should be protected.

Before the shooting, she posted about the stalking incident at around 4 AM, expressing frustration with law enforcement’s inaction.

Exactly eight minutes later, she was ambushed while sitting in her jeep. Witnesses noted that the assailant appeared from a bicycling area.

Wright was apprehended on Monday after authorities linked him to the scene through footage from a neighbor’s security camera.

During questioning, Wright asserted, “I’m not going to fight this situation… this is not going to be a fierce battle incident.”

In a chilling confession, he allegedly expressed jealousy over Samuels seeing another man, as told by her sister to the police.

Samuels had even sought a protective order for one of her sons on August 26, indicating the ongoing fear in her life.

Wright had been stalking her since August 21, trying to confront her at a location several blocks from his home.

In a disturbing turn of events, he held a gun to her head while threatening her, which highlights the incredibly dangerous situation she was in.

“The death of Mariah Samuels is devastating, and our thoughts are with her family,” stated Daniel Borgert Pooping, a spokesperson for the county attorney’s office.

He emphasized that they are committed to a thorough investigation and seeking justice for this alarming crime.

Wright faces charges of second-degree manslaughter and possession of a firearm by a felon.
