Charlie Kirk’s Ceremony Attracts Large Crowd in Glendale

Glendale, Arizona – Charlie Kirk’s additional service ceremony has drawn significant attention, with officials noting that the state’s stadium capacity was reached quickly.

The Arizona Cardinals Stadium can hold up to 73,000 people, and it filled up just hours after doors opened at 8 AM local time.

Attendees who couldn’t get inside were directed to an overflow arena nearby.

Kirk’s group, Turning Point USA, reported that about 200,000 people had registered for the event, while on-site estimates indicated that at least that many showed up.

Many wore outfits in red, white, and blue, as requested by Turning Point USA prior to the ceremony.

Greg Waters, a 71-year-old from Bishop, California, mentioned that he listens to Kirk’s podcasts daily. “He feels like a son to me. Our bond is through the blood of Jesus Christ,” he shared. “The issue with the world is our lack of understanding surrounding spiritual connections.”

Waters noted he walked two miles to reach the stadium, eager to attend the memorial service.

Some participants arrived as early as 4 AM to avoid the crowd and ended up walking two miles from the nearest parking due to the overflow situation.

Betty Santacielo, 56, from Pinal County, wore a red “Charlie Kirk” shirt, emphasizing the need for open dialogue. “Being from New Jersey, I have friends on both sides,” she remarked.

The Arizona Cardinals’ home stadium can accommodate large events, and organizers arranged for an additional venue nearby that could hold another 20,000, anticipating even bigger crowds.
