Former Cop’s Bid for Freedom
A former Westchester police officer, who once shared a cell with Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly attempting to secure his release.
Nicholas Tartaglione, now 57, is serving four consecutive life sentences for the 2016 murder of four men. He’s collaborating with influencer Jessica Reed Klaus in a bid to overturn his conviction, according to a report from New Yorker.
Klaus, a former mommy blogger and prominent Trump supporter, reached out to Tartaglione in an interview, assuring him that she could assist in obtaining a presidential pardon.
“Trump is known as the president of pardon,” she reportedly told him.
Klaus, known as JRK, mentioned her connections with about four different inmates for her story.
The influencer, boasting over 1.3 million Instagram followers, has recently drawn attention for appearing to mock the victim of a Wall Street investor just weeks before Epstein’s death in a New York facility in 2019.
In an Instagram story, she claimed, “I was raped 25 times on the island.”
Klaus has criticized Epstein’s victims in subsequent posts, suggesting they often overlook “facts and common sense.”
She expressed skepticism regarding the validity of the victims’ stories, saying, “Forgive me, but a college-aged woman who’s taken private jets for years and accepts money as an escort isn’t a credible victim.” This was in relation to Epstein’s convicted co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Klaus has been documenting the rise of RFK Jr. for the past five years, maintaining a photo folder labeled “Shirtless Kennedy showing tonal torso in various boat scenes around Cape Cod.” She praised his achievements during his tenure as health secretary, citing actions like firing 10,000 HHS employees and helping to develop a Covid vaccine.
“I think he’s accomplished more in five months than many others,” she told the New Yorker.
After Kennedy endorsed Trump, Klaus shared a photo of them together and wrote, “Trump Kennedy = Unified. You know I fought so hard for this.”
Tartaglione was convicted for murdering Martin Luna, Miguel Luna, Hector Gutierrez, and Urbano Santiago in 2016 over a drug deal gone wrong. He was classified as a “critical witness” during the investigation into Epstein’s suicide while awaiting trial for another case.
Prosecutors stated that Tartaglione strangled Luna with a zip tie, forcing others to witness the act, accusing Luna of stealing $250,000 from him. He eventually shot the other three men, and their bodies were found buried on Tartaglione’s property in Otisville, New York.
One of his alleged accomplices committed suicide in 2017 as federal agents closed in, while another, Joseph Biggs, received a 16-year sentence after admitting to killing one of the victims.
Tartaglione has consistently asserted his innocence, claiming during the trial that he operated an animal rescue and was not motivated by greed.
Klaus has not responded to requests for comments.
