The Buccaneers drafted Durham with their 171st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, making him one of the team’s promising young talents. On the other hand, quarterback Baker Mayfield reflected on the win over former Carolina coach Steve Wilkes, mentioning, “It felt good. It was personal today.” Mayfield had previously spent part of the last season with the Panthers before joining the Buccaneers.
