Glenn Beck shares his thoughts on Charlie Kirk’s memorial service.

Gathering in Glendale for Charlie Kirk

Approximately 100,000 attendees came together for a memorial service for Charlie Kirk at the NFL Cardinals’ State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, yesterday. The service featured prominent figures from the Christian music scene, including Firal Wickham, Brandon Lake, Kari Job, and Chris Tomlin. Notable speakers included conservative media personalities like Tucker Carlson, Benny Johnson, and Jack Posoviek, as well as political figures such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who serves as the Director of Health and Human Services.

One of the most poignant moments of the ceremony was a moving speech by Charlie’s widow, Erica Kirk, who is now the CEO of Turning Point USA.

Glenn Beck, who attended the event, recounted his experiences in a recent episode of the “Glenbeck Program.” He described the atmosphere as electric, filled with the undeniable presence of the Holy Spirit alongside a crowd of 100,000 people.

Beck referred to the event as a “miracle.” He noted that during the worship segment, it seemed as if the Holy Spirit was profoundly felt throughout the stadium. However, he had some concerns that, as the service progressed and political speeches began, that spirit might be overshadowed.

Surprisingly, the opposite occurred. Every speaker emphasized the gospel, highlighting Charlie Kirk’s steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and his mission rooted in faith. “This is something I’ve been praying for for 30 years,” Beck shared, admitting he had never witnessed an event quite like this.

He had initially expected a focus on faith but was amazed by the intensity of it all. “It felt more like an altar call,” he reflected, mentioning how people stood up showing their eagerness to follow Jesus.

Beck described it as “the biggest revival moment of my life,” drawing comparisons to a Billy Graham revival he had attended with his grandmother. He also praised Erica’s act of forgiveness, calling it one of the most astounding things he’s ever seen.

His co-host, Stu Burguiere, echoed Beck’s sentiments, noting that her choice to forgive transcends mere personal grace and could have a broader impact, even reaching secular audiences.

“Imagine how readers of the New York Times, who may view Christians negatively, might react when learning about [Erica]—someone who lost her husband and father of her child—and yet forgives. It could change their perception,” Burguiere suggested.

“Amen,” Beck added, affirming the powerful message of hope and grace embodied in the event.
