Trump States Ukraine Can Recapture Its Entire Territory With Help From the EU

Trump’s Perspective on Ukraine’s Position in the War

In a post on his social media platform, President Donald Trump expressed his belief that Ukraine can successfully fight and regain its territory, especially with backing from the European Union and NATO.

While attending the UN General Assembly in New York, he stated that Ukraine is in a potentially advantageous situation. He criticized Russia’s efforts, describing their actions as an “aimless fight” and referring to the country as a “paper tiger.”

Trump elaborated on his understanding of the military and economic landscape, suggesting that given Russia’s current economic struggles, Ukraine is well-positioned to succeed in reclaiming its territory. He remarked, “After knowing and fully understanding the military and economic situation in Ukraine/Russia, I think Ukraine is in a position to fight and win everything in Ukraine in its original form, with the support of the European Union.”

He shifted his focus toward Russia, highlighting its aimlessness in the prolonged conflict, which he believes undermines its military strength: “This doesn’t distinguish Russia. In fact, it makes them look like a ‘paper tiger’,” Trump commented.

Discussing the war’s impact on Russian citizens, he mentioned that those in cities like Moscow are unaware of the severity of the situation, including challenges like long lines for gasoline and struggles within their war economy. He expressed that a significant amount of their resources is trapped in rural areas.

Trump cautioned that “Putin and Russia have major economic problems,” suggesting it was crucial for Ukraine to capitalize on the moment. He concluded by wishing both nations well and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to supplying arms to NATO, wishing them good luck in their endeavors.
