Seahawks Face a Rough Start Against Cardinals

The Seattle Seahawks encountered an unfortunate error during the first quarter in their matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.

With about 8:58 left in the first quarter, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray attempted to pass to second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Unfortunately, he miscalculated the throw, and the ball ended up in the hands of Seahawks defensive back Coby Bryant.

Looking to capitalize on the moment, Bryant later teamed up with linebacker Tyris Knight, but the Cardinals managed to recover the ball, granting them a fresh set of downs. Surprisingly, the Seahawks celebrated prematurely in the end zone, believing they had possession, only for officials to clarify it was still Cardinals’ ball. This error allowed Arizona to score first with a couple of field goals.

Meanwhile, social media buzzed with reactions to the mishap. Later on, Harrison and Murray linked up again, but in a twist, the pass deflected from Harrison, landing in the hands of linebacker Ernest Jones IV.

By halftime, Seattle had established a 14-3 lead. Darnold performed well, completing 10 out of 10 passes for 123 yards, including a touchdown to AJ Burner. Zach Charbonnet also added to the score just before the half, crossing the goal line a minute before the break.

Murray ended the half with 12 completed passes out of 19 attempts, accumulating 67 yards. Trey McBride was a notable target for Arizona, making five receptions for 39 yards.
