Candace Cameron Bure Embraces Small Town Life, Leaving Los Angeles Behind
Candace Cameron Bure, known for her role in “Full House,” recently shared her move from Los Angeles to a quieter, small-town lifestyle on Instagram. She expressed her love for Southern California but noted that the vibe in LA has significantly changed since 2020.
Bure mentioned that she appreciates living in a place where residents genuinely know each other. “We love living in a small town where people really know your name—not because I’m on TV,” she explained, highlighting how effortless the transition was for her.
In one of her posts, she shared a stunning image of sunlight streaming through tall trees, reflecting on her newfound beauty in nature. “What’s not to like?” she added, underscoring her contentment.
Last April, the actress cited safety concerns as a pivotal reason for leaving Los Angeles permanently. “We didn’t feel safe anymore,” she admitted, indicating that her family had faced multiple unsettling interactions with strangers over the years. “People take photos, hide on our property, and approach our door,” she recalled, recalling uncomfortable experiences with fans crossing boundaries.
Bure further clarified that not everyone in Hollywood lives behind gates, and her family didn’t have that level of security, which contributed to their discomfort. “There have been quite a few issues over the years,” she noted, describing the pressure of feeling constantly observed.
Confirming her move, she shared that her family’s dynamics remain unchanged despite relocating. Bure and her husband, Valeri, are parents to three children: daughter Natasha and sons Lev and Maxim. This shift appears to be a step toward finding peace away from the Hollywood spotlight.
