The Ryder Cup, it seems, is ending on quite a lopsided note as today’s final round approaches.
After the second day of play, Team Europe has taken a commanding lead over Team USA, with a score of 11½ to 4½.
Due to changes in the event format, there will be just one round on the last day. Unlike the first two days, where teams competed in foursomes or fourballs, players from Team USA will now face off directly against European golfers.
Team Europe is tantalizingly close, just 2½ points short of the 14 needed to keep hold of the Ryder Cup title.
