Josh Hartnett Hospitalized After Car Collision on Film Set

Actor Josh Hartnett has reportedly been hospitalized following a collision with a police vehicle while shooting a scene in Canada. The incident involved Hartnett’s SUV and a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary patrol car last Thursday.

He was accompanied by a 59-year-old man, who remains unidentified. Both individuals sustained minor injuries and were released from the hospital on Monday.

According to authorities, the officers involved were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Both vehicles were said to be significantly damaged in the crash.

The collision occurred just before 1 AM at the intersection of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue. RNC collision analysts are currently searching for any witnesses or video evidence from the scene, whether from CCTV, dash cameras, or mobile devices.

The details surrounding how the accident happened are still unclear, including whether it was simply an unfortunate mishap without any negligence on either party’s part.

Hartnett is in Newfoundland for a Netflix series. He’s seen a resurgence in his career recently, reminiscent of other actors like Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan, who have also made notable comebacks.

Hartnett gained fame in the late ’90s and early 2000s with roles in films such as Halloween H20 and Black Hawk Down, before transitioning to television with shows like Penny Dreadful. His recent portrayal in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has drawn considerable acclaim.
