Fox News Media Spotlight Award Luncheon Celebration
On Tuesday, Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and President Jay Wallace hosted an intimate luncheon to honor the recipients of the 2024 Fox News Media Spotlight Award.
This annual tradition involves management receiving a multitude of nominations from staff who wish to recognize their colleagues. Winners were previously announced during a network-wide town hall last year, and they gathered at AVRA in midtown Manhattan, close to the Fox News Media headquarters, to celebrate.
Bill Hemmer, a Fox News anchor, emcee’ed the event and welcomed all guests before introducing Scott.
“I’ve always emphasized the importance of celebrating our achievements at Fox News Media. Without acknowledging success, who else will? We had a remarkable year and have a lot to be proud of regarding our business and our reputation,” Scott remarked.
“However, I think it’s crucial to highlight our team and the individuals making great contributions,” she continued. “In today’s world, supporting and celebrating each other is more important than ever, and we’ve built some amazing cultures together.”
Since its inception in 2020, the Spotlight Awards have recognized over 80 staff members from various teams. Fox News executives received 342 nominations, showcasing 185 individuals and departments across different platforms.
Wallace later introduced the award winners, joined by Fox News hosts like Martha McCallum, Ainsley Earhardt, Dana Perino, and Harold Ford Jr.
