Trump Adviser Warns About ICE Agents at Super Bowl
Corey Lewandowski, a longtime advisor to Donald Trump, recently raised concerns about the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at the upcoming Super Bowl in 2026, following the announcement that Bad Bunny will be performing during halftime.
“We can’t provide safe spaces for those who are here illegally,” Lewandowski said. He emphasized that, “Not just at the Super Bowl, but anywhere. We’ll find you, arrest you, and send you back.” It’s important to realize this is a very real possibility with the current administration, he added.
Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy winner, has been vocal against ICE actions in the past. He has even decided to skip U.S. dates on his latest tour over fears that his fans could face detention by law enforcement.
“It’s quite embarrassing that they’ve chosen someone who seems to disdain America to represent them at this major event,” Lewandowski remarked. He suggested that the NFL should opt for performers who foster unity rather than division, mentioning that there are plenty of talented groups who could fill that role.
He also stated, “Whether it’s a Bad Bunny concert or any other event, if there are undocumented individuals, we’ll be enforcing the law. Our goal is to keep Americans safe, and that’s what the president directs us to do.”
In response to inquiries about the matter, a spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security reiterated, “There are no safe havens in the United States for individuals who have committed violent crimes.”
