Jena Sims Shares Heartbreaking Miscarriage News

Jena Sims, a swimsuit model and wife of golfer Brooks Koepka, announced on Monday that she has experienced a miscarriage.

In an emotional post on Instagram, she shared a series of images from her pregnancy journey. “At 16 weeks, we received the heartbreaking news that the baby’s heart had stopped beating. It’s a sadness that parents simply aren’t prepared for,” she wrote, expressing the devastation felt by her and Koepka. She added, “We hope to one day provide a sibling for our first child.”

Sims highlighted how often these struggles are faced in silence, urging for more understanding and support for women’s reproductive health. “If you’re going through a miscarriage or infertility, please know you’re not alone,” she reassured others facing similar situations.

She also took a moment to recognize the challenges faced by healthcare workers who deliver such difficult news to families. “I can only imagine how hard that must be,” she said.

Sims and Koepka tied the knot in June 2022 and welcomed their first child in July 2023. Beyond her modeling career, including features in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, Sims founded the Pageant of Hope, which supports children dealing with significant life challenges.
