Marissa, Trevor Lawrence’s wife, jumped on the table to catch the last moments of the Jaguars’ dramatic 31-28 win over the Chiefs on “Monday Night Football.”
She shared her excitement on Instagram Stories, barefoot, in cheetah print shorts and a black top. Her caption simply stated, “It’s a W,” but she added with a wink, “I had to make sure I could see.”
In another post, she showcased the final score at Everbank Stadium, where the Jaguars extended their impressive eight-game winning streak.
“Yes & gn,” she playfully noted.
Feeling proud, Marissa posted a photo of her husband as he walked off the field, celebrating his birthday win, saying, “I’m so proud!!!”
She also shared a snapshot of a fan’s sign that read, “Sorry Taylor, it’s the time of Trevor,” alluding to the ongoing NFL hype.
Interestingly, Taylor Swift was not at the game; she was instead making an appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” that same evening.
The game wrapped up heroically, with Lawrence scoring a touchdown after a stumble over an offensive lineman, just 23 seconds before the final buzzer.
He completed 18 passes out of 25 for a total of 221 yards and rushed for a team-high of 54 yards, although he did have two interceptions.
“It’s a big win,” Lawrence remarked after the game. “They’ve been a solid team for a long time, and it’s tough to play against them… but it felt great to take it in the end and put together a solid drive.”
The Jaguars, now 4-1, are gearing up to face the Seattle Seahawks (3-2) this Sunday.
