Why Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli feel they have no hope of getting back together

It seems highly unlikely that Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli will be getting back together.

A source shared that those close to the couple have witnessed a really challenging year for them. It has been particularly tough on Lori, who’s feeling quite devastated.

The split reportedly began when Loughlin thought taking a break might be beneficial for their relationship, but now it appears they are, well, no longer aligned in their feelings.

According to the same source, reconciliation is off the table. They’ve expressed that divorce seems inevitable at this point.

Interestingly, Giannulli has been seen dating post-breakup, while Loughlin hasn’t ventured into the dating scene yet.

On October 2, it was reported that the couple, married for 28 years, had officially separated. Although there are no legal actions underway to end the marriage, they are currently living apart.

The day before the news surfaced, Lori was spotted having dinner with James Tapper, who was previously linked to Anne Heche. Reports say she asked for a hug while waiting for her car, but sources clarify that she isn’t dating anyone at the moment.

On his part, Giannulli was seen with stylist Hannah Harrison shortly after the separation became public. Harrison denied any romantic involvement, explaining that they were simply acquaintances meeting for professional reasons.

The couple has two daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade, who are said to be handling the situation well. A source indicated that they simply want their parents to be happy and are focused on maintaining a peaceful family dynamic.

Looking back, Loughlin and Giannulli were involved in the college admissions scandal a few years ago, which certainly put them in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. In 2020, they paid a substantial sum to secure their daughters’ admission to USC, although they weren’t athletes. Lori served two months in federal prison, while Giannulli completed a five-month sentence not long after.
