A Ukrainian cryptocurrency trader, Konstantin Galic, known as Kostya Kudo, was discovered dead in Kiev after a significant market downturn. Local authorities are currently investigating the situation as a potential suicide.
He was found with a gunshot wound to the head in his Lamborghini Urus on October 11 in the Ovoronsky district of Kiev. A gun registered to him was present at the scene, according to police sources.
A statement from the Kiev Police indicated that their investigation is focused on whether the gunshot was self-inflicted or if foul play was involved.
The day before his death, Galic reportedly expressed to his family that he was feeling depressed due to financial strains and sent a farewell message. His official website also acknowledged his tragic passing, stating that the cause is under investigation and updates will follow.
At 32, Galic was a prominent figure in both the Ukrainian and global cryptocurrency landscapes. He co-founded the Cryptology Key Trading Academy and was known as an influencer and strategist in the digital asset market.
His death coincides with increased volatility within the cryptocurrency sector. The recent crash in the market followed an announcement by President Donald Trump regarding significant tariffs on Chinese imports and new export restrictions on essential software, which sparked panic among investors and led to widespread liquidation in crypto assets.
Further commentary from the Kiev Police Department has been requested by concerned parties.
