Ukrainian crypto trader Konstantin Galich discovered deceased in Lamborghini amid market decline

Investigation into Death of Ukrainian Crypto Trader

A Ukrainian cryptocurrency trader was discovered dead in Kiev following a significant market downturn, and local authorities are considering the case as a potential suicide.

Konstantin Galich, who was also known as Kostya Kudo, was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside his Lamborghini Urus in the Ovoronsky district on October 11. A gun registered to him was present at the scene, according to police.

A statement from the Kiev Police indicated that they are working to determine if the gunshot was self-inflicted or if foul play was involved. They mentioned that Galich had expressed feelings of depression to his family a day before his death, citing financial struggles, and had sent a farewell message.

Additionally, an announcement on Galich’s official website conveyed condolences. It noted, “Constantin Kudo has tragically passed away. The cause is under investigation, and any updates will be shared as they arise.”

Galich, age 32, was a prominent figure in both the Ukrainian and international cryptocurrency scenes. He co-founded Cryptology Key Trading Academy and was involved as an influencer and strategist in the digital asset market.

His death coincides with a surge in volatility in the cryptocurrency markets, which were impacted by President Trump’s announcement of substantial tariffs on imports from China and new export controls on essential software.

These developments have caused distress among investors, leading to a major liquidation event in the crypto space.

The Kiev Police Department has been approached for additional comments regarding the situation.
