Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have been making headlines with their apparent romance. Recently, the two were seen enjoying some affectionate moments aboard Perry’s yacht, the Caravelle, near Santa Barbara. Photographs show Trudeau kissing Perry on the cheek and embracing her, while another picture captures the two cuddling up together.

It seems that the buzz around their relationship began when they were first spotted dining at a restaurant called Le Villon in Montreal back in July. Eyewitnesses reported that they shared cocktails and a meal that included lobster, which sounds pretty delightful, doesn’t it?

After their dinner, the couple reportedly took a moment to thank the restaurant staff, which I think is a nice touch. Just a few days later, Trudeau also attended one of Perry’s sold-out concerts in Canada, where he looked quite happy watching her perform.

One fan even remarked on social media how joyful he appeared, saying something like, “He hasn’t looked this happy in a while.” That’s sweet and adds a personal touch to the whole situation. I mean, who doesn’t smile when they’re at a concert of someone they admire?

Interestingly, this new relationship comes on the heels of Perry’s recent split with Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a four-year-old daughter, Daisy. They confirmed their breakup in July after a decade together, stating that they are focusing on co-parenting. So, it must be a pretty significant transition for Perry, yet it looks like she’s moving forward in a new chapter.

Trudeau, similarly, ended his marriage to Sophie in 2023 after 18 years. It seems both are navigating significant changes in their personal lives, which might make them feel a bit more relatable to the public. I guess love can reemerge in unexpected places.
