Man with a pipe attacks two women and a teenager in a series of random assaults in NYC.

A week after being released for a previous assault, a man was arrested on Wednesday morning in the Bronx following a five-hour violent spree where he targeted two women and a 15-year-old girl.

Jeremiah White, 23, allegedly confronted a 46-year-old woman at West 175th Street and University Avenue around 5:20 a.m., screaming, “I hit your mom,” before striking her multiple times with a metal pipe and then punching her as well, according to the NYPD.

The woman, Virginia Alvarez, a public health nurse, was en route to work when she suffered severe injuries, including cuts and bruises on her face and head. Reports indicate she was left bloodied after the unprovoked assault.

“He just kept hitting me, hitting me, hitting me,” Alvarez described from her hospital bed at St. Barnabas, while her condition was noted to be stable.

“He didn’t stop.”

Following this attack, White is said to have ambushed a teenage girl, shouting, “Watch out!” before striking her in the back of the head with the pipe at about 7:25 a.m. on Louis Nine Boulevard in Crotona Park East.

The girl was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was reported to be in stable condition.

Later, at 9:55 a.m., White allegedly punched a 54-year-old woman in the face outside an apartment building on Franklin Street in Claremont.

He was apprehended at 10:25 a.m. and faces charges for two counts of felony assault and one count of misdemeanor assault.

This individual, who has a history of four prior arrests, had been taken into custody on October 7 for a misdemeanor charge linked to an incident involving a 17-year-old girl at the 174th Street Station on September 12.

It’s unclear how he was released shortly after his arraignment.

White’s next court appearance is scheduled for November 18 regarding the earlier assault case.

The Bronx District Attorney’s Office has not yet commented on the situation.
