On Friday, Pete Davidson surprised his pregnant girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, with a private jet trip to see Paul McCartney perform live.
“Pete is taking me on a surprise date,” she shared on her Instagram Stories, posting a photo of Davidson, 31, sitting across from her on the plane.
Once they landed, the comedian revealed they arrived in Minnesota for McCartney’s concert at U.S. Bank Stadium.
“He’s so cute I’m crying,” Hewitt commented on her Stories after unveiling her boyfriend’s surprise plans.
Additionally, the former “Saturday Night Live” star arranged for them to meet McCartney, 83, backstage.
Hewitt, 29, expressed her excitement in a follow-up post: “That was a really special bucket list moment for me.” She added, “[Paul] He’s the one person I’ve always wanted to meet. Is my boyfriend the kindest, most thoughtful person? Or what?”
In July, Hewitt announced their first child is on the way, just months after the couple publicly confirmed their relationship in March.
This post came shortly after Davidson’s ex, Kim Kardashian, spoke about their brief romance during her podcast. Kardashian reflected on a low point during their relationship, remembering how her ex-husband, Kanye West, made light of Davidson in his 2022 music video “Easy.”
In the visual, the Yeezy designer, 48, depicted Davidson in a rather distressing scenario. “It made me feel really sad. It was really unfair to him,” Kardashian remarked during her podcast episode.
Davidson had a relationship with Kardashian, 44, from October 2021 to August 2022, while she was separated from West.
When their relationship ended, sources mentioned that their age difference played a role. “Pete is 28 and Kim is 41. They’re just in completely different places right now,” a source noted. “Pete is spontaneous and impulsive, wanting her to fly to New York or wherever he is, but Kim has four kids and can’t just drop everything.”
