Trixie Mattel Reads Eric Trump's Book to Kids at 'Drag Queen Storytime' on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' and Destroys It in a Wood Chipper

Drag queen Trixie Mattel made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, participating in a segment of drag queen story time while reading Eric Trump’s new memoir, Under Siege: A Family’s Fight to Save the Country.

Recently, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! resumed after a short cancellation stemming from Kimmel having misinformed viewers about a violent incident involving Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

“Do I scare any of you?” Mattel asked the children. When they replied “no,” one child waved and said, “You’re really amazing. Why would anyone be scared?”

“That’s very positive, thank you. You all are great, too,” the drag queen responded to the kids.

Mattel then pulled out a “whole stack of books” and invited the children to choose one with her.

“Because at the end of the day, this is a democracy. As of this morning, it’s still a democracy. I just don’t get it,” the drag queen added, suggesting a book titled “Who Cares about the Elderly?” The other book she mentioned was “Collectible Spoons of the Third Reich.”

After the kids expressed disinterest in those selections, Mattel asked, “How about we read President Trump’s book?” They all responded “No” at once.

Instead, she decided to read excerpts from Eric Trump’s memoir, humorously referring to him as President Trump’s “least favorite son,” and asked if the children were “potty trained.”

Mattel recited a passage from the memoir, stating, “Donald Trump is certainly unconventional and politically incorrect. He also has a heart of gold and is the best father a son or daughter could ask for.”

“Okay, I’ll stop you there,” interrupted one child, who added, “Instead of skipping this page, maybe you should skip the whole book.”

The child then suggested, “Can we skip story time entirely and go straight to lunch?”

Mattel then took the kids outside for what she called a “special science experiment,” which involved tossing copies of the book into a wood chipper.

“This may not be a great book, but it will make great confetti,” she declared.

This wasn’t the first instance of Kimmel critiquing Republicans while seeming to overlook parents’ concerns regarding children being exposed to certain content through drag queens.

Earlier this year, Jimmy Kimmel Live! featured another segment of drag queen story time involving a story written by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) titled Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America.
