Indictment Secured Quickly After Appointment

Lindsey Halligan, the Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, managed to obtain an indictment merely four days after being appointed by Trump to replace Erik Siebert. Reports suggest Siebert was removed due to his hesitation to pursue charges.

The FBI made an internal announcement regarding this situation back in August.

Interestingly, in a post on Truth Social dated October 9, Trump declared Comey “guilty as hell” and urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to take action. Meanwhile, defense attorneys submitted 60 pages of related evidence.
