Trump’s White House Ballroom Plans Spark Outrage

President Donald Trump’s ambition to construct a lavish ballroom at the White House is gaining momentum, stirring up the usual storm among media and celebrities.

Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre resurfaced on “The View” to fan the flames, stating that “the people’s home is basically being sold to the highest bidder.”

“It’s all about corruption. I overheard someone behind the scenes say, ‘That can’t be true.’ But honestly, isn’t there a better metaphor for what’s happening in our country? Watching Trump take a wrecking ball to the White House feels like it,” she continued.

Joy Behar chimed in, questioning why Trump is seemingly untouchable: “Why do they let him do whatever he wants? It’s been nine or ten months. The powers in Washington aren’t doing anything. It feels like they’re acting powerless…”

Host Stu Bruguiere responded by criticizing Jean-Pierre’s claims, saying, “For someone who was always reading her responses as press secretary, claiming she heard something from ‘behind the scenes’ just shows she’s never had an original thought.” This was shared on “Stu Does America.”

Maria Shriver also expressed her discontent with the ballroom project, tweeting, “This is just heartbreaking and infuriating. Building a new banquet hall costs hundreds of millions. Oh my God.”

Bruguiere humorously remarked, “Just someone who knows how to be frugal,” highlighting the absurdity of the situation.

Interestingly, the renovations are funded entirely through private donations rather than taxpayer money, allowing construction to proceed even amid the government shutdown.

Bruguiere noted, “Reporters were supposed to be covering the shutdown, blaming Republicans, but now they have nothing to complain about regarding the Democrats, so they just photograph the White House and grumble.”
