World Series Game 4 Draws a Star-Studded Crowd

Game 4 of the World Series had the atmosphere of a celebrity gala rather than a typical baseball matchup.

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers held a 2-1 series lead against the Blue Jays, with the talented Shohei Ohtani pitching. The crowd included figures from basketball royalty to actual royals.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seated right behind home plate, even closer to the action than Dodgers legend Sandy Koufax and co-owner Magic Johnson.

The couple sported blue Dodger caps and were caught on camera smiling and cheering during the game.

MLB shared footage of Lakers superstar LeBron James arriving at Dodger Stadium with his wife, Savannah.

Hollywood icons like Brad Pitt and Johnny Knoxville were also in attendance.

Other notable attendees included actors James Marsden, Austin Butler, and Tobey Maguire, adding to the star-studded atmosphere. Sydney Sweeney and boxing legend Christy Martin were present as well; Sweeney is set to portray Martin in an upcoming film.

Interestingly, Sweeney narrated the opening of Fox’s broadcast for Game 4. She remarked, “Given the setting, it’s appropriate to dust off the story with some movie magic, right? Why not make it a little romantic? Put their names exactly where they belong, high above the streets, illuminated by glowing lights. Why not do that?”

Despite the celebrity presence, the Dodgers couldn’t maintain their lead in the series.

Toronto managed to leverage an early 1-0 deficit, rallying for two runs in the third inning and four in the seventh to close the game at 6-1, eventually winning 6-2 and leveling the series.

Now, the Dodgers get to enjoy one last game in sunny Los Angeles before the series shifts to Toronto for the final two games.
