Lawsuit Alleges Cover-Up of Allegations Against Coach
A new lawsuit has made surprising allegations against the Celina Independent School District in Texas, claiming that they concealed accusations regarding Caleb Elliott, a middle school football coach, who may be a registered sex offender.
It’s said that instead of being terminated for what was described as an “inappropriate” relationship with a high school senior, Elliott was reassigned to a middle school. This decision reportedly allowed him to avoid being labeled a predator.
Moreover, during the 2024-2025 academic year, it’s alleged that Elliott set up a camera in the locker room at Moore Middle School to record boys changing, leading to his ban from the space.
In a twist, Elliott defended himself by saying he was merely trying to prevent theft and was unaware that his actions were illegal.
Commenting on the situation, Blaze TV’s Sarah Gonzalez expressed her disgust, stating, “Clearly, this child predator was only enabled and emboldened by this district.” She emphasized that Elliott, being the son of a successful coach, seemed to be protected due to his ties to the football program.
Gonzalez described the actions of the school district as “unfathomable and unconscionable,” because they allegedly prioritized winning games over the safety of children.
Following the discovery of the camera and footage, Elliott faced restrictions regarding locker room access.
Gonzalez elaborated that, according to the complaint, rules were not effectively communicated, allowing Elliott to enter the locker area undeterred.
She further recounted that boys reported seeing Elliott standing in the locker room, staring at them while they undressed and showered, with his phone aimed in their direction.
One disturbing allegation claims that Elliott coerced one of the boys into performing naked jumping jacks to retrieve a backpack, while he watched.
Expressing her outrage, Gonzalez remarked, “If it had been my son, I probably would have been in jail.” Her statement reflects her concern for the well-being of these vulnerable boys, who were exploited by an individual in a position of authority.
