New Jersey Gubernatorial Candidate Jack Ciattarelli Votes Early
Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican candidate for governor in New Jersey, participated in early voting on Friday in Bridgewater. While there, he encouraged local residents to cast their ballots ahead of the official Election Day.
In a message shared via social media, he emphasized the accessibility and safety of early voting, urging people to take advantage of the opportunity before it ends at 8 PM that evening. “Momentum is on our side as we fight for positive change in New Jersey! Get out there and vote!” he added.
“We are reminding people not to wait until Tuesday, two more days from today,” he said. “Anything can happen.”
Ciattarelli expressed his optimism regarding the campaign, stating that he felt confident about their chances to win. He also discussed his support for former President Donald Trump, mentioning his commitment to collaborating with the White House if Trump were to win the election again.
“I’m honored to have the support,” the Republican remarked. “He supports me for a lot of different reasons, but one of them is he knows I’m the only Republican that can win in November, and he wants to win. This sends a very loud and clear message that there are certain policies that need to change, not just at the national level, but here at the state level as well.” He asserted, “If I were governor, we wouldn’t be a sanctuary city. My lawyers will not sue the White House over executive orders. We will work together to keep our country and state safe.”
Despite these confident declarations, recent polling shows Ciattarelli trailing behind Democratic opponent Mikie Sherrill by several points.
This gubernatorial race is notable for being among the most expensive in New Jersey’s history.
