Denise Richards Celebrates Halloween with Throwback Vibes

Fans of Denise Richards got a fun surprise this Halloween. The 54-year-old reality star paid tribute to her earlier days in Playboy with a classic black bodysuit and matching ears in a series of social media posts.

The “Wild Things” actress accessorized with white cuffs and a black-and-white bow tie collar, reminiscent of her Playboy cover from almost two decades ago. She first posed nude for the magazine in December 2004, just a few months after welcoming her child.

During a chat with Jay Leno, Richards shared a memorable moment from the shoot, mentioning how her parents and newborn were present in the Bahamas. She recalled feeling uneasy when her stylist suggested “no bottoms” for one of the photos. “I told her, ‘You should find some ruffled bottoms,'” Richards said, detailing how the stylist used shammies and leaves for the photo. “I didn’t have to show you anything I didn’t want to show,” she noted.

Interestingly, Richards mentioned having turned down Playboy in the past but decided to accept the offer this time around, thinking it might be her last chance. She also credited her ex, Charlie Sheen, for helping her choose the final photos.

On a more serious note, Richards was gearing up for court proceedings concerning a permanent restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers. She had previously secured a temporary order while their divorce was underway, and her testimony last month revealed multiple allegations of abuse that brought her to tears.

Richards recounted an incident at the Four Seasons Hotel, where she claimed Phypers became “very volatile” with her mere hours after she had undergone significant cosmetic surgeries. According to her, he even attempted to search her belongings while she slept and physically assaulted her during their escalating conflict.

“That’s when I really knew our marriage was over because of the physical abuse,” she said. “Things just kept getting worse,” Richards continued, recalling how vulnerable she felt after her surgeries.

During a recent hearing, Phypers was handcuffed and arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse shortly after Richards’s testimony. On an emotional level, she described a time when he allegedly grabbed her arm while she was recovering, complicating her recovery further.

After he learned she was communicating with another man, Richards said Phypers lost his temper, hurling insults and exacerbating their already troubled situation. “He grabbed my arm,” she testified, highlighting how frail she felt just weeks after her surgeries. “I asked him to let me stay with his family at another house,” she shared, pointing out her need for peace and recovery in a healthier environment.

In court proceedings, Phypers filed for divorce claiming financial distress due to Richards allegedly freezing their joint accounts and withholding his business tools. He pressed for spousal support, citing irreconcilable differences, and highlighted the income from Richards’s OnlyFans page, which he claimed courts should view as joint income.

He stated, “With respect to my OnlyFans page, the money she receives is approximately $200,000 to $300,000 per month.” His filing requested half of that income as property management rights, along with additional spousal support, amid ongoing struggles for financial stability.
