Quinnen Williams’ Wife Reflects on Time in New York

Maranda Williams expressed her gratitude for the experiences shared with her husband, Quinnen Williams, during his time with the Jets. Following a major trade that sent the three-time Pro Bowler to the Cowboys, she posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram Story.

“Words cannot describe the gratitude I feel,” she shared alongside a photo of them embracing on the sidelines, adding, “Lord, we thank you for the good times and the bad.”

She also reposted Williams’ goodbye message to New York, simply stating, “Thank you New York.”

Despite rumors of dissatisfaction stemming from the Jets’ 1-7 record, Williams has been a cornerstone of their defense since being drafted as the No. 3 overall pick in 2019. Over the past three seasons, he made it to the Pro Bowl each year and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2022.

In this trade, the Jets acquired defensive tackle Maji Smith from Dallas, along with a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 first-round pick. This trade is part of a broader restructuring effort by the Jets, which included sending star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Colts for two first-round picks.

Williams shared a warm farewell to his Jets teammates and fans, expressing excitement for his new chapter in Dallas. “New York will always have a special place in my heart,” he noted. He thanked the organization, his teammates, and fans for their unwavering support throughout his journey.

Additionally, Williams and Maranda are among six couples featured in Prime Video’s docuseries, The Home Team, which delves into the pressures faced by players’ partners during the challenging football season.
