Eric Trump Calls His Father During Alabama Event

During a Turning Point USA gathering at Auburn University on Wednesday, Eric Trump made a live call to his father, Donald Trump. Addressing the audience, the former president shared heartfelt sentiments about Charlie Kirk, stating, “We love Charlie,” and added, “He’s looking down on us right now.”

Eric, who co-hosted the event with his wife, Lara, received enthusiastic applause when he posed the question, “Should I call him?” as he held his phone up to the microphone, prompting Donald to respond with, “Hello? Hello?”

In his speech, Eric expressed his admiration for the attendees, remarking, “At Auburn University, we have the most beautiful people, thousands of them. They are incredibly passionate; they truly worship this country and God.”

Donald Trump also made a point to honor Charlie Kirk, who had been tragically assassinated recently, saying, “I want to salute Charlie and Erica. These are two great people. Erica, I’ve talked to her a lot, and she’s just a great person. She’s going to pick up where Charlie left off. We should never allow something like this to happen.”

He continued, “One of the greatest people we’ve ever known, and he was so responsible for our victories. We love Charlie. He’s looking down on us—and Erica, take care of yourself. We’re with you all the way.”

As he concluded his remarks, Donald Trump emphasized the current strength of the nation, saying, “As President of the United States, I love you all and our country is in a great place.” Turning Point USA mentioned that their tour aims to honor Charlie’s mission and keep the momentum going for their cause.

The organization underscored the importance of speaking out, reminding everyone that “freedom of speech is only free if we speak out.”
