Travis Kelce Enjoys New York Getaway

Travis Kelce recently shared his excitement about spending time in New York City during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week.

During a conversation with his brother Jason Kelce on the podcast “New Heights,” he mentioned, “I just got out of the house and went to New York.” It seems like a simple trip, but there was a lot more to it.

The 36-year-old tight end explained that he didn’t plan anything extravagant. Instead, he just wanted to relax, explore the city, sample good food, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. “This is my favorite time of year, as the seasons change from the Midwest to the Northeast. It’s been a lot of fun,” he said.

Travis also took time to reconnect with old friends and make new connections. “It’s cool to have a city feel like this,” he added, recognizing the unique energy of New York. “Just walking down the street and feeling the electricity, meeting new people along the way.” It sounds like a perfect mix of adventure and downtime.

While he didn’t elaborate on his relationship status with Taylor Swift, the two were spotted together on November 5, appearing quite close during their outings. They were photographed hand-in-hand as they arrived at Manhattan’s Polo Bar and later visited one of their favorite spots, Zero Bond, the following night.

In an interesting moment, “Bachelorette” alum Jason Tartick shared his observations from their dinner, commenting on how no one approached them for photos during the two hours he was near them. “I was a little bit disappointed, but also curious,” he remarked, noting the privacy they enjoyed amidst the buzzing New York scene.

Kelce and Swift, who have been engaged for about three months now, are in the midst of planning their wedding. The couple started dating in the summer of 2023 and made their relationship public around September. It sounds like they’re navigating quite a whirlwind, both personally and professionally!
