Trump to Attend World Economic Forum in 2026

President Donald Trump is expected to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in 2026, as reported by sources familiar with the situation who spoke to Bloomberg.

He plans to bring a significant entourage along with him. The forum is known for discussions around critical international policy issues, including combating “disinformation” and addressing climate change. Trump had previously participated in the meeting during his first presidential term, where he aggressively promoted his policies shortly after taking office.

The WEF noted, “The World Economic Forum has invited Heads of Government and States from the G20 and other countries to the 2026 Annual Meeting, which includes President Trump. The full list of confirmed attendees will be shared a week before the event.”

In a statement during his earlier attendance, Trump emphasized that the U.S. would focus on being a sovereign nation with secure borders, criticizing the Green New Deal and expressing his intention to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord, among other assertions about energy policies.

Recently, the WEF has been scrutinizing its founder, Klaus Schwab, amid whistleblower allegations related to financial and ethical misconduct, which were unveiled in July.
