Summers Spent Honeymoon on Epstein’s Island

A recent report has revealed that Larry Summers, the former president of Harvard University, vacationed on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island during his honeymoon. This news comes just a day after Summers left a prominent teaching role at Harvard, triggered by the emergence of emails indicating significant communication with the convicted sex offender.

In December 2005, shortly after marrying Elisa F. New, the couple flew to the Caribbean island by helicopter. The Harvard Crimson noted that this information was based on publicly accessible flight records.

According to a spokesperson for Summers, they visited St. John’s and Jamaica as part of their honeymoon but made a brief stop at Epstein’s island—less than 24 hours. Interestingly, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking and is linked to Epstein, was also on the same flight.

This trip took place six months after Palm Beach police initiated an investigation into Epstein regarding the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.

Summers, previously a U.S. Treasury secretary, resigned from the board of OpenAI, the organization behind ChatGPT, following scrutiny over his associations with discredited investors. Just two days prior, he announced a pause on all public engagements after it was disclosed that he had exchanged thousands of emails with Epstein.

The situation escalated last week when the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released over 20,000 pages of documents from Epstein’s estate. These documents highlighted Summers’ connections with Epstein, revealing discussions on various subjects, including women Summers expressed interest in.

This is an unfolding story, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.
