Families of victims express gratitude to Trump for border security initiatives in Thanksgiving video

American Border Stories (TABS) recently unveiled a poignant video, highlighting families who have suffered the loss of loved ones due to issues linked to the border crisis. These Angel Families expressed their appreciation for former President Trump’s strong immigration enforcement policies.

In this 11-minute video, released on November 22 to coincide with Thanksgiving, country singer Alexis Wilkins features messages from over a dozen Angel Family members who voiced their gratitude toward Trump and his administration.

Joe Abraham, who tragically lost his daughter Katie in a drunk-driving incident involving an undocumented immigrant, thanked the former president for his commitment to border security, stating that it helps keep communities safe. “I hope people remain focused on this,” he remarked, adding, “We don’t want any other families to endure the heartache we’re facing now. Thank you, and happy Thanksgiving.”

Another speaker, Ann Fundner, who lost her 15-year-old son Weston to fentanyl poisoning, called Trump “the greatest president in American history,” expressing her gratitude for his unwavering dedication to protecting the nation. “I thank God every day for you,” she said.

Agnes Giboney, whose son Ronald da Silva was killed by an illegal immigrant in California back in 2002, praised Trump for his “courage, strength, and love for our country.” She thanked him and his administration for their efforts to secure the borders and deport harmful illegal aliens.

Debbie Santini also voiced thanks in the video, sharing that her son Jesse Byrd passed away from fentanyl poisoning in 2022. She appreciated everything Trump has done and continues to do for families in similar situations.

Among those sharing heartfelt messages were Kim Novak, Jacqueline Long, Greg Crews, and many others who contributed their stories and gratitude. The video reminds viewers of the real consequences stemming from policies that may be perceived as lenient on crime.

Wilkins wrapped up the video by thanking the Trump administration for the significant progress made for these families and their experiences. “On behalf of everyone at American Border Story, thank you, Mr. President. Happy Thanksgiving,” she concluded.
