Trump’s Health Update following MRI Scan
During a press conference on Monday, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt shared the results of President Donald Trump’s MRI scan conducted in October, confirming that he is in good health.
As media curiosity about Trump’s health grew, particularly after his second routine medical examination this year in October, Levitt announced that the imaging tests indicated no health issues. She explained that these advanced body imaging scans are part of a comprehensive approach to evaluate cardiovascular and abdominal health, especially for men of his age.
“The goal of this imaging test is prevention, to catch any potential problems early, confirm overall health, and help the president maintain long-term vitality,” Levitt emphasized. She also noted that the cardiovascular results were completely normal, citing no evidence of arterial narrowing or abnormalities that could affect blood flow. The heart chambers were reported to be of normal size, and the walls of blood vessels looked smooth and healthy with no signs of inflammation or clotting.
Trump, being the oldest individual to hold the presidential office, has faced increased scrutiny over his health, especially after photos showing bruises and swelling earlier this year. Despite the concerns, Levitt and Trump have downplayed these issues, referring to previous medical exams in April and October that affirmed the president’s good health.
Levitt added, “The abdominal imaging is also completely normal. All major organs look healthy and are functioning well.” She stated that this thorough evaluation is a standard procedure for executive medical check-ups at Trump’s age, thereby reaffirming that he is in good overall health.
In a light-hearted moment during the press conference, Levitt remarked, “I think that’s quite detailed. In our effort to be transparent, the president made that promise last night and we’ve kept it today.” When asked about the MRI findings, Trump himself characterized the report as “perfect,” suggesting he was open to releasing the results.
“If they want to release it, I’m okay with that,” Trump mentioned, reiterating that the report was perfect and expressing his willingness to share it if necessary.
