Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo's house damaged following defeat

Kevin Pattullo, the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, experienced vandalism at his home shortly after the team’s 24-15 defeat against the Chicago Bears on Friday. Reports indicate that his residence in Moorestown, New Jersey, was targeted with eggs early Saturday morning, as confirmed by the local police. A viral video seems to show individuals throwing eggs at various homes.

Initially, there were speculations in the comments about whether a rock had been hurled at Pattullo’s home. However, the Moorestown police clarified that it was indeed eggs that caused the damage. They are currently investigating the incident to identify the perpetrators.

The Eagles’ offensive struggles have drawn criticism from fans this season, despite the team’s 8-4 record. After the recent loss at Lincoln Financial Field, boos echoed from the stands as spectators reacted to the lackluster performance.

By Week 13, the Eagles were positioned 24th in yards per game (304.8), 23rd in passing (196.3), and 22nd in rushing (108.5). Scoring-wise, they were 19th with an average of 22.5 points per game. Meanwhile, the defense, under veteran coordinator Vic Fangio, has been performing reasonably well, but questions about the offense have persisted, considering the talent available.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was acclaimed as the Super Bowl MVP before the season started, hasn’t matched his previous success. His current QBR is the lowest since he became the Eagles’ starter in 2021, although he has thrown 19 touchdowns and only two interceptions with 2,514 passing yards.

On the running front, Saquon Barkley, who had an impressive 2024 season with an average of 5.8 yards per carry, has seen a drop this year, averaging only 3.7 yards and securing just four touchdowns on 198 carries.

Off the field, star receiver AJ Brown has been at the center of attention, particularly after scoring twice in the Bears’ game. Coach Nick Sirianni has expressed frustration with repeated media inquiries about Brown’s comments regarding his target share, highlighting the impact of such questions on his focus.

Previously known for their explosive offense under now-Saints head coach Kellen Moore, this season has seen the Eagles grappling with offensive inconsistencies.

Despite the challenges, Sirianni stated in a call with reporters that Pattullo would continue in his role as the team’s offensive play-caller following evaluations of the recent game. The upcoming challenge for the Eagles will be against the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday.
