Kim Kardashian Claims Kanye West Alleged She Pretended The Paris Robbery For A TV Show: “That Hurt Deeply”

Kardashian Family Episode Explores Paris Robbery Trauma

This week’s episode of Kardashian Family delves into a significant moment for Kim Kardashian as she prepares to take the stand in the trial related to the 2016 Paris robbery that transformed her life.

The episode opens by recounting the terrifying night when Kardashian was held at gunpoint by a masked intruder posing as a police officer. During this incident, over $6 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million diamond ring, was stolen from her hotel room.

Kardashian recounts the distressing details of the robbery, where the assailants bound her hands and feet and covered her mouth and eyes. She was only wearing a robe, which made the situation even more horrifying. At one moment, it seemed they might assault her, but they ultimately fled with her belongings.

In a heartfelt confessional, she also addressed a conspiracy theory suggesting she had staged the robbery as a storyline for her reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kardashian revealed that even her then-husband, Kanye West, questioned whether the incident was fabricated.

“Howard Stern famously joked about it, calling me sick, but that was just humor, right?” Kardashian expressed, visibly emotional. “It really struck me when someone close, like my ex-husband, said, ‘You faked a robbery for a TV show.’ It felt like a dagger to my heart. How could someone who knows you, know the impact it had on your life, not believe you?”

Kardashian emphasized that finally being able to confront the robbers in court helped dispel those outrageous claims. “Facing them and hearing their explanations made it clear that this was real,” she said. “I’m just relieved it’s over.”

Of the ten individuals tried in connection with the crime, eight were found guilty and received prison sentences ranging from three to eight years, although they did not serve the full term.

New episodes of Kardashian Family air every Thursday on Hulu.
