Jesse James Decker’s Health Struggles
Jesse James Decker is currently facing an unexplained health issue.
The 37-year-old country singer shared her recent health struggles on Instagram, noting that she hasn’t been feeling well lately.
In one of her posts last night, Jessie appeared in a hot tub, saying, “Feeling a little better today… still have a slight fever and stomach ache, but after yesterday’s day, I’ll hang in there.”
She mentioned being “fully committed to this thing right now,” adding that everything she has encountered “kicked my butt.”
Jessie also created a question box for fans, asking for movie recommendations to help pass the time while she recuperates.
“Good morning. I’m just going to have some more coffee. I don’t have a voice, so I’m not sure why I’m doing this,” she reflected in a Thursday morning update. “I think I forgot for a moment. My face was really swollen, but last night I started feeling a lot better—that’s the truth. This morning, however, I’m still coughing, and my chest feels heavy.”
She remarked, “I actually took a dose of a forced inhaler to see if it helped. Whatever this is, it keeps changing, and it’s just weird.”
Jessie concluded the update with a hopeful note, expressing her desire for her situation to improve soon. She shared that she had felt better the previous night and thought, “OK, this is almost over,” but was met with new symptoms when she woke up.
Later, she showed off a bit of herself making brunch and shared another post of herself on the couch, candidly stating, “My chest pains are bad. Maybe I need to see a doctor. Or will it get better soon?”
Above a picture of her resting, she expressed frustration, saying, “[I] used up too much energy. Back to lying down.”
Jesse and her husband Eric Decker recently took part in season four of Fox’s “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test.” They made it to the sixth day of the challenge, but Eric had to leave due to an injury, and Jesse chose to withdraw to support him.
In an interview, the couple mentioned that participating in the show together helped strengthen their relationship.
Eric shared, “I think I saw a lot of grit and tenacity from her, and we wouldn’t usually put ourselves in this type of environment. Watching her grow in that context was really special. Going through it together built a natural bond.”
He continued, “During team activities, it’s a lot about support. A quick hug or just re-centering after a tough moment—knowing we have each other’s backs makes a difference.”
