The Royal Family Shines at Christmas Event
It’s that time of year again! Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis appeared quite grown up at the Together at Christmas carol service in London on Friday, held at Westminster Abbey.
The siblings coordinated in navy outfits for the occasion, looking very much like they were ready for a royal outing.
George, now 12, seemed to outshine his younger brother Louis, who is 7, as they both wore blue suits reminiscent of their father, Prince William.
Charlotte, on the other hand, was adorable in a matching dress and tights. Her hair was elegantly styled with a large bow, completing her look with black ballet shoes.
Duchess Kate, their mother, opted for a stylish green coat dress paired with black boots. This year marks the fifth gathering for the annual ‘Together at Christmas’ carol service, which Kate first launched in 2021.
Initially, the service aimed to recognize the efforts of those supporting communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The theme this year revolves around “love in all its forms,” capturing the essence of family ties, friendships, and connections.
When she arrived at the event, Middleton first greeted guests solo before returning with her husband and children. After tying the knot in April 2011, she and William welcomed George in 2013, Charlotte in 2015, and Louis in 2018.
George, as the second in line for the throne, has reportedly not been told much about his future role as King. It’s interesting, perhaps even a little surprising, that his parents have held off on those conversations for now.
This year has been busy for the young prince, marked by numerous public appearances, including Trooping the Color and Wimbledon. Just recently, he made headlines for attending a memorial festival alongside his mother, standing proudly beside her.
People noted his striking resemblance to William when he turned 12 earlier this year. Interestingly, last month, William mentioned a “tense issue” they faced while raising George, particularly when deciding not to give him a mobile phone just yet.
It seems that as George looks forward to middle school, a phone without internet access might be on the horizon, according to a lighthearted comment from William.
