YouTuber Responds to Drugging Allegations by Tara Reid

YouTuber Sean Pettiford has spoken out following actress Tara Reid’s serious accusation that he drugged her drink at a hotel, leading to her passing out.

Reid claimed that during a phone conversation, she confronted Pettiford about receiving a drink from him at the DoubleTree Chicago O’Hare Airport on December 1st. In an interview with Inside Edition, which is set to air on December 5th, he firmly denied the allegations. The show reportedly obtained surveillance footage from that night and found no proof that Reid’s drink had been tampered with.

When asked directly by Inside Edition if Reid had been drugged, Pettiford firmly replied, “Absolutely not, never.”

“I’m mortified, I’m really mortified,” he added.

Pettiford recounted his conversation with Reid, saying, “I said, ‘Tara, how can I heal you while we’re outside smoking?’ That’s impossible.” The Rosemont Department of Public Safety confirmed that there was no indication of tampering with Reid’s drink.

According to police statements cited by Inside Edition, while there was footage of Tara Reid at the hotel bar, it did not show anyone tampering with her drink.

Footage reviewed by the media indicated that Reid was served five drinks at the bar, while she previously stated to TMZ that she had consumed only a single glass of wine. After her fifth drink, she appeared dizzy, and moments later, a video captured her being taken to the hospital in a wheelchair.

Pettiford mentioned to Inside Edition’s Alison Hall that Reid had started showing interest in him at the bar, but upon being turned down, her demeanor shifted dramatically.

He recounted, “She said, ‘Can you please take me to my room?’ I said, ‘No, Mom, I’m not going to do that.'” He added, “The moment I said that, all hell broke loose.” When asked if he believed she was making advances, Pettiford replied, “I know she was making advances.”
