Concerns Over Transgenderism and Its Drivers
There’s a growing belief among modern gender activists that transgender individuals genuinely experience gender dysphoria, feeling they were born in the wrong body. However, some, like Blaze TV host Allie Beth Stuckey, suggest a more troubling explanation for the increasing trend of sexual reassignment among young people today.
Stuckey expresses skepticism about the prevalence of true gender dysphoria, saying, “I no longer believe that most people who claim to be of the opposite sex have true gender dysphoria. I believe that gender dysphoria exists as defined in the DSM5.”
She attributes the rise in transgenderism largely to influences from pornography. “I think it’s mainly because of porn,” she states, explaining that as young men explore online content, they inadvertently develop certain sexual fetishes. These fetishes, coupled with an algorithmic tendency to seek stronger thrills, push them toward more extreme material.
Stuckey elaborates, indicating that the nature of pornography has evolved over the years — becoming more violent and deviant. She believes that this trend has deeply affected young boys, who often view pornography as a rite of passage but can suffer severe repercussions to their developing minds.
In her view, the current surge in transgenderism among men should be thought of as a significant issue tied to sexual depravity rather than gender identity. “It has nothing to do with gender,” she insists. “It has to do with sex. And I’m not talking about biological sex. I’m talking about sexual fetishes and pornography.”
