Pamela Anderson Reveals Past Romance with Liam Neeson
Pamela Anderson has shared that she had a romantic relationship with Liam Neeson, her co-star from “Naked Gun,” despite her efforts to shift her image toward more serious roles.
In her quest to move away from her sex symbol persona, Anderson had even stopped wearing makeup and rebranded herself. Yet, it seems she found herself in a relationship with Neeson. In a recent interview with People, released on December 9th, she candidly discussed their bond.
“Just so you know, Liam and I had a brief relationship, but that was after we finished filming,” she explained to the magazine.
Anderson recounted spending an “intimate week” with Neeson at his home in upstate New York, a curious choice for someone trying to distance herself from a turbulent past.
She seemed to downplay their time together, mentioning, “I had my own room.” She added, “My assistants came by, my family stopped by.”
The actress reminisced about their outings, recalling a dinner at a small French restaurant where Neeson jokingly referred to her as the “future Mrs. Neeson.”
Anderson also shared a quirky moment from their week, saying, “I took care of a rose bush with mint growing in it. I was happy to help, and he was grateful.” She even playfully mentioned how Neeson chased bears away while wear a bathrobe during their adventures.
Calling their time together “a romantic lost week,” she reflected that they eventually went their separate ways to focus on different projects.
The two recently reunited to promote the film, drawing attention for their interactions on the red carpet, which reignited relationship speculation.
Anderson expressed her amusement at people thinking it was just a publicity stunt, saying, “I’m like, ‘Publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.'” She further added, “I love Liam, but to be honest, we’re better friends.”
Reportedly, Neeson attended Anderson’s last performance in Tennessee Williams’ play “Camino Real” in August, showing his continued support for her evolving career. Anderson mentioned that he was proud of her new direction and suggested they’ll remain in each other’s lives for the foreseeable future.
