Olivia Nuzzi worried 'Bobby will kill me' if relationship was revealed, former partner says

Recently, Tucker Carlson warned journalist Olivia Nuzzi about her safety, even suggesting he could send her a shotgun after her relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came to light. Ryan Rizza, Nuzzi’s ex-fiancé, has shared that he felt a concern for Nuzzi’s life due to threats he believed were posed by Kennedy.

Rizza dismissed these fears, explaining the measures Kennedy’s team, including a problematic security adviser named Gavin de Becker, took to maintain secrecy around the affair.

“Friends mention that de Becker often checked in on Olivia to ensure she stayed loyal and kept Kennedy’s secrets,” Rizza wrote in a recent post on Telos News Substack.

He added that during a conversation with Carlson, Nuzzi shared details about de Becker’s call, which led Carlson to suggest she should be wary about her safety and even offer a firearm for protection.

According to Rizza, who used to write for Politico, his ex-fiancé expressed multiple times that she would be in danger if the affair was exposed.

After the affair became public and Kennedy attempted to persuade Nuzzi to maintain her loyalty, Rizza noted that Kennedy began to distance himself from her.

At one point, Nuzzi reportedly sought Carlson’s assistance in getting in touch with Kennedy, Rizza mentioned.

Carlson eventually had a dinner meeting with Kennedy, where they discussed what Rizza described as a sophisticated plan to undermine Kennedy.

Rizza recounted that Carlson was conveying to others, including Nuzzi, that Kennedy was being threatened by Israel.

He continued, “Kennedy assumed I was just collaborating with Olivia. However, Tucker perceived it as part of a larger conspiracy aimed at destroying Trump through Kennedy. He believed I was just the initial target.”

“In the realm of conspiracy theories, he compared himself to Alex Jones with Kennedy being akin to Oliver Stone,” Rizza added.

In recent weeks, Rizza has been sharing his perspective more openly, particularly following Nuzzi’s release of her memoir about her short-lived relationship with Kennedy, who appears to be gearing up for a presidential campaign in 2024.
