It’s been a while since we’ve heard a lot from her.
Taylor Swift is back, and after completing her massive 149-date Ellas Tour just over a year ago, she’s partnering with Disney+ to offer a six-part documentary series that gives fans an inside look at her record-shattering tour.
In the coming weeks, fans—lovingly known as Swifties—will get an “in-depth look at Taylor’s life, showcasing how her tours have captured the attention of fans globally.” The docuseries will include appearances by her family, including her fiancé Travis Kelsey, as well as friends like opening acts Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, along with surprise guests like Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch.
To complement this release, Swift plans to unveil a full-length concert film titled “The Eras Tour: The Final Show,” which was filmed during the last stop of her tour in Vancouver, Canada. This will feature the complete set, including the “Tortured Poets Division” act.
Interestingly, the initial concert film released in theaters in October 2023 didn’t include any performances from the TTPD era, since that album was dropped partway through the tour and added to the set list only after its release.
In an Instagram post, Swift reflected, “It was the end of an era, and we recognized that.” She wanted to document every significant moment leading to the crescendo of this pivotal chapter in her life. This led to the decision to allow filmmakers to chronicle the tour and all the intertwined stories as it wrapped up, ultimately capturing the final show.

The first two episodes of “The End of an Era” will be available on Disney+ starting Friday, December 11th at 3 AM ET/12 AM PT.

The concert film “The Eras Tour: The Final Show” will also drop on Disney+ at the same time as the docuseries on December 11th at 3 AM ET/12 AM PT.
