Erika Kirk and Candace Owens Share About Their 'Helpful' Discussion

Discussions Between Erica Kirk and Candace Owens

Erica Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) and widow of conservative figure Charlie Kirk, along with conservative commentator Candace Owens, discussed their recent exchange, describing it as “productive.”

This all follows a situation where Owens suggested that “TPUSA insiders, American supporters of Israel, and the French military” were implicated in a supposed “assassination plot” involving Charlie Kirk, as reported by Axios.

The article noted that Owens had also expressed skepticism about Erica Kirk’s intentions.

TPUSA, as mentioned, has “sporadically denied Owens’ claims,” with producer Blake Neff indicating that the organization planned to host a livestream on Monday to systematically address Owens’ allegations. They even extended an invitation to Owens to participate in this event.

While TPUSA has at times refuted Owens’ assertions, they seemed to have avoided in-depth communication with her, who previously served as a communications director and was once a friend to Mr. Kirk.

However, on December 3, Blake Neff issued a detailed response to Owens’ statements, saying that the organization would hold the livestream as planned. Although he initially invited Owens to join, they decided to proceed without her after she mentioned scheduling conflicts.

In a shift, Erica Kirk opted for a direct conversation with Owens instead, with both women later commenting on its productive nature.

“I had a very productive conversation with @RealCandaceO,” Kirk tweeted. “There’s a lot more to come from both of us. We’re looking forward to AmFest this week. Time to get back to work.”

Owens noted on her end that their four-and-a-half hour meeting was beneficial and expressed that it would have been better had it occurred earlier. “We agreed on much more than I expected. Of course, we also differed on various points and people. Most importantly, we were able to share information and clarify our intentions,” she shared in a tweet.

She further mentioned her plans to “completely recap” their discussion but admitted she was feeling exhausted at the moment. Owens expressed relief, stating that nothing was withheld in their meeting, leading to immediate tension relief on both sides.

In a recent Fox News interview, reported by Breitbart News, Erica Kirk remarked on her lack of time to engage with conspiracy theories surrounding her husband’s alleged assassination.

“I don’t have time to deal with the noise. My silence doesn’t mean I’m complacent. My silence does not mean that Turning Point USA and all of its hand-picked staff, who loved my husband and my husband loved them, are involved in it in any way. We are busy with construction. And I understand that people process grief differently. They are seeking answers to something very evil that occurred. We are working hard. We understand each other in that regard,” she explained.

Kirk had a straightforward message for those spreading conspiracy theories: “So my message to them is, stop, stop.”
