Woman Arrested for Hiding Razor Blades in Bread
A woman was taken into custody on Tuesday for allegedly placing razor blades inside loaves of bread at two Walmart locations in Biloxi, Mississippi. Reports indicate that 33-year-old Camille Benson, hailing from Texas, faces charges of attempted mayhem, with bail set at $100,000.
According to the Biloxi Police Department, there were multiple reports from customers who discovered razor blades in bread at both Walmart Supercenters and Walmart Neighborhood Markets. The initial report came from a customer who purchased bread at the Walmart Supercenter on December 5, followed by another report from a buyer at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on December 8, where a similar discovery was made.
It seems that after further complaints, Walmart employees conducted inspections and found that several other loaves had also been tampered with, as indicated by law enforcement officials.
After receiving a tip on Monday, authorities encouraged anyone who had bought bread at these Walmart stores to check their products and report any suspicious items.
“The health and safety of our customers is always our top priority,” Walmart stated, emphasizing their quick response to remove potentially affected products and their commitment to cooperating with the investigation. The police, however, do not believe that other stores were targeted in this incident.
Walmart also advised customers to discard any tampered items immediately and return to the store for a full refund.
Following the news, WJTV’s Facebook post about the arrest generated over 3,000 comments. Many users expressed their opinions rather candidly.

- Another quipped, “Come on, let’s give her the bread with the razor in it.”
- A user humorously noted, “The Demon King is really busy!”
- One prediction proclaimed, “Bread will now be packaged in boxes with pull tabs. Wait until the price triples.”
- Finally, a user mused, “It’s time to start baking your own bread.”
