Jets vs. Patriots Preview
The New York Jets and the New England Patriots are set to face off in what feels like a mirror image of each other’s seasons.
As Week 17 rolls around, the Jets find themselves struggling with a record of 3-12, while the Patriots, boasting a 12-3 record, are tied for the best in the AFC along with the Broncos.
This afternoon, at 1 PM ET, the teams will meet with differing goals. The Jets aim to secure a win against a playoff-caliber team in what is their final home game of the season. In contrast, the Patriots are looking to enhance their already strong position and solidify their chances for home-field advantage in the postseason.
“I think Cook gives us the best chance to win. But we also want to see where he is at, and we have a lot of guys on this roster,” Jets head coach Aaron Glenn stated during a press conference. He seemed confident that Cook could lead them to victory.
