Team Trump’s Social Media Surge in 2025
In 2025, Team Trump’s social media presence exploded, racking up an impressive 5.3 billion views and welcoming 13 million new followers across various platforms.
The announcement was made on New Year’s Day via X’s @TrumpWarRoom account, accompanied by the enthusiastic caption “Victory!”
Leading the charge was X Strategies and its CEO, Alex Bruesewitz.
In an exclusive statement to a media outlet, Bruesewitz, who is also a senior adviser to President Trump’s Leadership PAC, expressed confidence in Trump’s popularity, stating that “President Trump is the most popular and respected leader in the world, and his movement is growing. Our reach on social media is second to none!”
Breaking down the numbers, Team Trump’s accounts garnered 1.8 billion views on TikTok, 1.6 billion on Instagram, 1.1 billion on Facebook, and 862 million on X. Notably, their TikTok posts alone received 127 million likes throughout the year.
The 13 million new followers broke down as follows: 4.3 million from TikTok, over 5 million from Instagram, 3.2 million from Facebook, 150,000 from X, and 486,000 from Truth Social.
Throughout the year, various statistics from Team Trump’s accounts were regularly highlighted. In June, it was reported that these accounts amassed nearly 200 million more views than the official Democratic accounts on TikTok and Instagram Reels combined.
By June, Team Trump’s account had drawn in 176.8 million views, significantly outpacing the Democrats, who only achieved 64.1 million views on TikTok and 9 million on Instagram Reels.
August saw Team Trump surpass the Democratic Party’s official account by over 160 million views across both platforms, while September and October brought in nearly 1 billion views throughout all channels.
Bruesewitz described Trump as “the No. 1 influencer in the world,” emphasizing that his role simplifies their efforts. He also remarked, “Democrats have no message, no messenger, and will never have enough money to counter our organized forces,” reflecting his close connection with the President and the confidence he has in their strategy.
