Mickey Rourke is reportedly living “paycheck to paycheck” as he faces potential eviction from his Los Angeles residence.
A source mentioned that Rourke has led a turbulent lifestyle, filled with substance abuse. They pointed out that in recent images, he’s appearing quite worn out—really not the same as he used to be, especially without the glam of Hollywood.
According to reports, the financial situation for the “Wrestler” star is bleak. His film roles, it seems, haven’t provided the income he once enjoyed. It’s almost like he’s scraping by and would be in a better position had he managed his finances more wisely.
One source described his situation as “rich poor,” saying while he has opportunities to earn through movies and reality shows, his spending habits leave him back at square one before long.
At 73, Rourke is struggling but remains optimistic about finding a solution to maintain his home, according to insiders. Reports also indicate that he amassed nearly $60,000 in unpaid rent, leading to the eviction notice.
Recent court documents show he has missed payments on his $7,000 monthly rent at Beverly Grove, and he was notified to either pay or vacate by December 18, 2025.
On New Year’s Day, Rourke was seen opening his door to retrieve several food deliveries, wearing an unfamiliar expression. He grabbed a Taco Bell bag and a couple of grocery bags from Pavilions.
