Kayla Beshear Shares Family Tragedy on Social Media

In a heartfelt social media post, Kayla Beshear reflected on a profound family tragedy involving her and her husband, Alex Beshear, who plays as a relief pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Last November, the couple revealed that their daughter, Sterling Sol Beshear, had sadly passed away. They stated, “Our beautiful daughter passed away to heaven on Sunday, October 26th.”

In a recent TikTok video, Kayla admitted she was overwhelmed and didn’t have much to say. She mentioned, “To be honest, I don’t have much to say,” expressing the emotional weight she has been carrying since the loss.

“Alex and I are just trying to get through it every day. Every day feels so different for us right now that we’re often at a loss for words,” she said, clearly grappling with the impact of their loss.

Kayla expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support from their community during these difficult weeks and months. “It felt right to come here and say ‘thank you,'” she noted. “We’re so grateful for all the love and support we’ve received. It’s really brought us a lot of comfort in this situation.”

Looking ahead, the couple announced plans to marry in 2024 and are expecting their first child in April 2025. They have been sharing glimpses of their journey on social media.

Earlier, Alex had stepped away from the Dodgers just before the World Series, citing “extremely personal issues.” The team acknowledged his need for privacy during this time.

In her TikTok video, Kayla expressed uncertainty about her future content but indicated a desire to share her journey. “I want to share my journey, but I don’t know how much I can,” she said, emphasizing the importance of offering support to others who might be going through similar experiences.

Alex had a noteworthy season in 2024, participating in 68 regular season games and several postseason games, contributing to the Dodgers’ championship victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 World Series.
